For admission in to various medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS you need to write NEET and the seat is allocated to the candidate on merit base.
15% seats are given for All India rankers in every state and 85% of seats are for home state candidates.
And they consider both AIR and category rank irrespective of where you're taking admission it means that if you have secured a higher rank in AIR category you will be alloted a seat in AIR category if not you will be alloted a seat with your category rank.
