Look UPSEE every declares result based on different category. So for each category, there are separate ranks lists. Some of the categories which are included in these exams are   General, OBC, SC, ST.

Besides this, there is also reservation for girls students as well as Physically handicapped students.

Thus, to apply in any college you have to show your category with the rank you get in that category.
