Hello Aspirant.

Civil Engineering mainly deals with understanding, developing and maintaining the infrastructures we see around us. Civil engineers conceive, design, build, supervise, operate, construct and maintain infrastructure projects and systems in the public and private sector, including roads, buildings, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges, and systems for water supply and sewage treatment.

Different Types of Civil Engineering?

  • Construction Engineering.
  • Structural Engineering.
  • Transportation Engineering.
  • Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Water Resources Engineering.
  • Environmental Engineering.

The job outlook in this sector will remain favorable. Aging infrastructure ensures that civil engineers will be needed and in demand to manage projects to reinforce and rebuild bridges, repair roads, design and build airports and tunnels, and upgrade levees and dams.
