Hello Aspirant,
computer science engineering deals with the hard ware and software of the computer. As a CSE graduate i would say that there are many employments from service based companies.
Many technologies like cloud computing, Artificial intelligence, machine learning are trending now and lasts for many years. Computer engineer should not only study for the employment alone but also for the knowledge and the importance of the technolgies and the implementation.
The future of CSE will be very good based on jobs opportunities, technology development and many..
Hope this will help you. Good Luck.
Hi Vinay,
Demand for CSE graduates is ever increasing, the following three fields would run the world in the near future:
Institutes would very soon start offering major in the above three fields. Some institutes like IIT Hyderabad have already started giving major in Artificial Intelligence.
Any CSE student should make himself/herself job-ready when he/she completes the course. Apart from the curriculum and syllabus, it is always better to learn new technologies and keep yourself updated. But not at the cost of the syllabus. The syllabus is the basic one and every graduate is expected to be completely master in it.
Right from the second year in college, it is better to get involved in real time coding/projects and get proficiency in two or three technologies. For example, if you are interested in Java platform, apart from core Java language, have proficiency in Java-based technologies/frameworks like, SPRINGS, Hibernate, Ajax, ExtJS, e.t.c. The knowledge in these would make you start ahead in your career for sure.
And to the main question, getting into a course should not be based on the scope of employment alone. If a person is interested in Computer science engineering, and is aspiring for a career in it, then go for it. This world has full of opportunities. Computer science is here to stay for a very long time but can quickly morph to new technologies. So be ready to learn till the end of your life.
All the best
Hello Vinay,
Computer science and engineering is a very big domain and in India it is pretty saturated apart from some specializations like AI, Big Data and IoT. Unless you specialize in these courses and some others its of no use. The future of CSE is AI, ML, IoT, Big Data, Hadoop and Blockchains.
Hope this helps.
