Sir, what is the process of taking admissions into any govt engineering college of Bihar ? I don't see any state level combined exam advertisement of Bihar. I have read that admission is done through lateral entry only ? What is this & who all are eligible for it ? Please help by answering my query.

Hello,

If you want admission in NIT Patna and IIT Patna then you will have to crack JEE mains and JEE advance respectively with good ranks. For admission in other engineering colleges like MIT Muzaffarpur, Bakhtiyarpur College of Engineering, Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Bhagalpur College of Engineering, etc, you will have to crack Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination. Its a state level entrance exam conducted for admission in engineering colleges in Bihar. It is conducted once in a year.
