CSE Branch cut off for general candidates in NIT Surathkal was:

• JEE 2020:   1324
• JEE 2019:   2156
• JEE 2018:   3928

and for NIT Trichy the cut off for CSE was:

• JEE2019:   1373
• JEE2018:   4048

So, you need to secure around 220 marks to secure your chance in these NITs being a general category candidate.

This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

And 781 rank is around 230 Marks and 1324 rank is around marks  210 marks.
