Hope you are doing well. I will try to answer you query in detail. First I will list down eligibility criteria, selection procedure and cutoffs for last year.
Eligibility for MBA - Full Time
- Candidates must have pursued a Bachelor's Degree programme after twelve years of formal schooling with at least 50% marks at the graduation level (SC/ST: Passing marks; OBC/PWD/CW: 45% as per university rules) or equivalent CGPA.
- Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree / equivalent qualification examination or are awaiting results can also apply.
FMS Admission Procedure
There are 2 stages that a candidate goes through before getting selected for MBA Programme.
- The first stage is appearing for the CAT Exam conducted by the IIMs.
- On clearing the required cut-offs and the composite score, a candidate is called for the second round which comprises of Extempore Speech, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview (PI) .
For the batch of 2018-20, following procedure will be used to grab a seat in the coveted MBA programme of FMS, University of Delhi:
Stage 1: Shortlisting of Candidates for Personal Interview
A composite score shall be computed giving weightages of 30%, 30%, and 40% to the scores of QA, DI-LR and VRC sections respectively as provided by the CAT Centre. An additional 3 marks shall be added to the Composite Score so computed in case of women candidates for the purpose of shortlisting.
Stage 2: Admission Merit List
For the shortlisted candidates, admission to MBA programme shall be based on Extempore Speech, Group Discussion, Personal Interview, Class X and XII marks and CAT 2017 scores as provided by CAT Centre. The following weight-system will be applied:
