Hello James,
You didn't mentioned your state so I am assuming that you are from Karnataka.
According to UGC circular all the degree students except final year will not be having exams (but it is not officially declared by VTU). All other students marks are based on Internals marks 50% + previous sem 50% marks.
But for diploma students the Minister of Higher Education of Karnataka stated that the exams are likely to be held from August 1st week.
