Placements have started to grow in Mechanical branch in Lmniit. Last year, the average package offered went to 7 LPA for mechanical engineering students. Many students have applied for off-campus drives, and the package went to a maximum of 40 LPA. The placement stats revealed that the average salary offered for the students of our college is higher than the other institutes in Jaipur.

About 75% of students were placed from the mechanical stream in Thapar Institute of Technology . The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA, which was not a core job but a job in IT company. The average salary package offered was around 5 LPA. Companies like Tata Motors, Royal Enfield, Maruti Suzuki, etc., recruited students from this  college.

Overall, Lmniit is best for placement of Mechanical branch as its core sector placements averages upto 7 lakhs per annum which is more than Thapar Institute of Technology.

Between these two undoubtedly thapar institute of engineering. Thapar be better than lmniit in every respect whether it be placements, faculty , campus or ranking.

Placements at thapar are great and average package is about (8 lakhs) and total companies that arrive in the college is close to 320 for a complete year. The mechanical engineering department has a good record of more than 90% placement in a number of years. So,if academic record is good and communication skills are fine,then there is always a better chance of being placed.

A lot of companies also arrive for the internship for the pre final year students. More than 200 companies visit Thapar institute of engineering technology , and offer good package.
Various companies like Microsoft, Zomato, IBM, Whirlpool, Infosys, etc., visit the campus for placements. The college holds a good record in placements, and the rest depends on the students .
