If you want to pursue M.sc in geology then you can enter into any IIT through IIT JAM. Some of the best IIT's that hold good placement record in this course are:
IIT Kharagpur and IIT Bhubaneshwar. They train you well and the number of companies visiting these colleges is also good and the salary offered is also satisfactory. If you put down all your efforts after entering into any of these colleges then you'll definitely get placed.
