There are very few colleges in Tamilnadu providing BFSc course to interested candidates. The courses generally are fisheries, food technology, food processing, veterinary, animal and dairy studies etc., Some of the colleges are-
* Annamalai University, Cuddalore
* Fisheries college and research institute, Thoothukudi
* Tamil Nadu veterinary and animal sciences University, Chennai
