If you wish to go for CSE then jayee, Noida is a very good option. Apart from all the private engineering colleges , jaypee institute has a seperate hold in its province. Its good in every sense, be it academics , placement , infrastructure, curriculum , just everything is far beyond expectations. Its the best out there.
Hi,
1. I felt that Infrastructure wise LNMIIT had a little edge over JIIT, JIIT campus was very small with no hostel facility to all, whereas LNMIIT was a hundred acre campus. For most of us infrastructure hardly matters so was it for me but I felt that the LNMIIT campus is more calm with greenery spread all over and pleasing environment do matters (engineering is a four year course).
2. Placement scenarios were similar in both LNMIIT and JIIT but I noticed that in JIIT total no. of seats were quite large compared to seats in LNMIIT. I personally felt it as a plus point for LNMIIT. (Do observe the way in which the placement stats at JIIT site is provided and look at the total strength, I hope you too will get the point.)
3. Fee in both the institutes were same.
4. I saw that in LNMIIT almost all the faculties were IITians whereas in JIIT it was not so.
5. I found that LNMIIT is not totally a private institute, it is run through a public-private partnership model. LNMIIT was set up in collaboration with the Government of Rajasthan.
