Sir, Will I get a govt seat for bsc agriculture if my Kerala rank in NEET is 5516?
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Their are 3 government agricultural colleges in Kerala and 1 horticulture college.
Here's the list of the government agricultural college with their last ranks (after 2nd round of cutoff in neet 2018).
Government agricultural college, Thiruvananthapuram- 4140
Government agricultural college, Kasaragod- 4334
Government agricultural college, Wayanad- 4349
This is the last rank details under the STATE MERIT category.
The ranks are the state merit list ranks.
If you are applicable for SM or EZ then you won't be able to get any of the government agricultural colleges, if we go by the last year's cutoff.
However if you belong to other categories like MU, BH, LA, DV, VK etc you can easily get any one of the colleges in your state.
I hope this helps.
All the best for the future!!
Hello Sreema,
NEET is not required to pursue BSc Agriculture.
BSc Agriculture is a 4-year professional undergraduate degree awarded by Indian universities for 10+2 students preferably with science stream.
ICAR AIEEA is the national level exam conducted in the month of June(forms of which are available in May) for admission in BSc Agariculture.
Various states also conduct entrance examinations for admission to this course.
In Kerala, KEAM is conducted for entry into BSc Agriculture forms for which are released in the month of February.
All the best!
