Hello Rahul,
I can understand you, but you should understand that you must have to choose one career option at a time . In fact time will not permit you to prepare for both because these exams comes under the toughest category of exams.
Now the question is which career option is best, CA or IAS?
See, If you are interested in power and administration then go for IAS and if you are interested in financial juggling then CA is best for you.
Let me present you some difference in these two career option to make you aware of things.
- CA is a professional degree which if accompanied with graduation and masters offers value added services. Whereas I.A.S is Civil Services, and to sit for the same, graduation in any discipline is must.
- CA offers jobs in both public and private sector while Civil Services are only offered at government level.
- Canada, New Zealand, Australia are three top recruiters of Accountants (you need to sit for few exams) while there is no option of getting posted abroad as an I.A.S officer.
I hope these points are making things clear to you now.
I would also suggest you to make your own research. Try to understand what you like. If you like accounts, can work for long hours on clients file, good with numbers and have good concentration power than CA is your choice. But, If you like to administer, concerned towards India as a Society and are looking to work for government than IAS is the better choice.
