sir/madam I am currently studying in class 11 . due to covid-19 I am unable to attend jee coaching . so I am planning to start jee preparation by own at home . please tell me best books for jee preparation . I am not attending any coaching class .

Self study is very important as it tells you about your weakness, your strong subject/topics. It helps you in understanding topics at your own pace. It is very good that you want to do self preparation of JEE at home. But, self - study only pays when you do your studies with discipline and regularity. Both of them are required along self study to clear any exam. So, I suggest you that you should before starting preparation, you should make a timetable and follow that timetable regularly. In this way, you can achieve your goal without any stress and also, you will get confidence.

Now, talking about JEE, first read NCERT books of Maths, Physics and Chemistry as it will help you in making a foundation. Now, after reading a chapter from NCERT, use another book for understanding advanced topics and to solve problems. Solving problems along is very important.

• SL Loney (for trigonometry and coordinate geometry)
• SK Goyal (for Algebra)

For Physics:
