Hi

You have not mentioned your category so I am assuming you from general category

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 580 marks   you hold a good chance to get a seat in a Government Medical College

For example,
In Neet 2019, 518 marks for general category was the cut off marks to get a seat in Government Medical College  under west Bengal state quotaand it was for COOCHBEHAR GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL

With your 580 marks you also chances in following Government Medical College under West Bengal State quota:-

*COLLEGE OF MEDICINE AND JNM HOSPITAL, KALYANI

.

*DIAMOND HARBOUR GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL

.

*Bankura Sammilani Medical College, Bankura

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year  due to   many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in   which you have to chances and
to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

You haven't mentioned your Category and so the answer is being written in ther perspective of General Category. Compared to 2019, the NEET 2020 cut offs have changed considerably higher than expected. With the top score being 720 which is 19 marks greater than 2019's top score, it is difficult to predict chances. But based on the analysis of the experts, on the and going by previous years data, with this score a few Colleges that you may have a shot at, you have a chance in:

  • COLLEGE OF MEDICINE AND JNM HOSPITAL, KALYANI
  • COOCHBEHAR GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL
  • DIAMOND HARBOUR GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL

Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. For a complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer .
