There is a new nine-point grading system, the grade ‘A’ is the outstanding grade while grade ‘E’ is the poorest (five-point scale). The new nine-point scale grading system will expect learners to get passing grades in 4 out of 5 subjects to enter the following higher class.

81-90       A2      9.0

71-80       B1      8.0

61-70      B2       7.0

51-60      C1       6.0

41-50      C2       5.0

33-40       D       4.0

21-32      E1      Fail

00-20      E2      Fail

CGPA = aggregate of Grade points achieved in 5 main subjects divided by 5.

Percentage - CGPA X 9.5

The exam time for term 2 exams is 2 hours and the question paper will keep case-based/ situation based open-ended short answer/ long answer type problems.

The term 1 question paper had Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). It will comprise case-established MCQs and MCQs on assertion-reasoning types. OMR sheet was involved.

The exam time for term 1 exams was 90 mins. SThe score achieved in the Term I exams will be added to the all-around score of the learner.
