Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing fine. Your question seems to be ambiguous as you have not clearly mentioned the first college name. However, if you're referring to Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Kolkata in both the cases, then your question boils down to ECE / CSE.

Now, both these branches have their own pros and cons. If you enjoy programming, you should always go for CSE while if you are into hardware/electronics you should choose ECE.

Coming into placement scenario, again both the branches have equal median salary of 3.2 LPA. However, the highest salary for CSE was 8 LPA while that of ECE was 7.2 LPA.

In short, do not be swayed away by the salary factor but choose the branch that you really want a future in.
