It might not possible for now,  as the NEP isn't yet in effect.  It might get in effect from next year, as per the New NEP you may hold your current course and take the diploma certificate and opt for other course and then after completing that course, if you feel you want to complete your previous left over course you can continue from that place where you had left (You should atleast complete one whole year means two sem to get the diploma certificate.)  but as rhe policy is not in effect, it might not possible for you to change and have the intermediate course of science stream from the Arts Stream.  Moreover Arts and Science are completely different stream with different subject, it will become mess for you.  So l,  it my suggestion to complete the course in which you are in first and then opt for any other course.
