Sir/Mam if I complete my MBBS in AFMC and want to do PG also in AFMC then also should we be abide by the bond paper and what if age is crossed till the 7 years bond is completed..Thank you sir/mam
Snigda, Admission to MD/MS courses at AFMC is conducted through NEET PG. And the upper age limit for Civilians to appear for AFMC admissions is 35 years. But iif you plan on appearing for NEET and study MBBS in AFMC, you wll not be considered a civilian. Cos you will me moving up the ranks during the 7 year bond service. So the rule of 35 years upper age limit doesn't apply to you because you will not be a civilian then. To study MBBS in AFMC. you have to appear for NEET and appear for its Admission process which consists of TOELR, PAT and Interview. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th.Once you complete MBBS, you can join the Armed Forces as Commissioned Officers in Army, Navy and Air Force. You start with a Monthly pay of Rs.57,800 per month with a designation of Lieutenant. You become a Captain on completion of Internship and start earning Rs.63,100 per month. After 4 years of service as a Captain you are promoted as a Major and then your pay is increased to Rs.71,500 per month.
