Some job opportunities after mechanical engineering are:

  • Aerospace engineer
  • Automotive engineer
  • CAD technician
  • Control and Instrumentation
  • Maintenance engineer
  • Research and development field
  • Oil exploration sector.

You can do higher studies in mechanical engineering(M.Tech) by giving exams such as GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering), PGECET (Post- Graduation Engineering Common Entrance Test).

You can also give exams like IES,CAT,MAT,ISRO,ONGC,SAIL,BHEL for jobs.
