sir/mam I'm interested in physics.currently I'm studying 12th in Tamil Nadu board of education. is studying Bsc or BE in physics is useful and if so what are the courses I can select based on physics in Bsc or BE
hello
If you want to pursue physics in future, there are a lot of choices for you to pickup a course from as per your interests. Doing bsc/ be is gonna provide you knowledge and educational qualification and will train you in 3-4 years.
Some of the BE courses if you are interested which you can do are as follows:
- Aerospace Engineering
- Automobile Engineering
- Biotechnology Engineering
- Bio Informatics Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
if you really love physics then you can also pursue bsc. physics, astronomy, computer science biotechnology etc.
Choose as per your interests in the subjects. good luck.
Hello gowtham!
hope you are doing well! If you are interested in physics then you can go for both Bsc and BE.It is depend on your interest area.
For bsc-
There is so many college from where you can do your bsc with physics and after that you can do your masters in physics and Phd also.
I am providing you here some top college list for Bsc -
- Delhi University
- BHU (Banaras Hindu University)
- University of Hyderabad
- Chennai Mathematical Institute(CMI)
- Mahatma Gandhi University
You can complete your Bsc from any college and after that you can go to IITs for Msc in physics.
For BE-
For engineering there are alot of options you have .You can take admission admission in IITs and NITs by giving IIT JEE examination.
There are many other famous colleges in India ,you can search for those colleges on the basis of your interest.
There are many branch in Engineering colleges ,on the basis of your interest in physics I would like to suggest you to choose Mechanical engineering Branch because it covers almost total concept you read in physics at 12th level.(It is totally your choice dear ,just a suggestion it is!)
Hope it will you to take your decision.
All the best!
Hello
B.Sc. is more theory based with BE is more practical based.
So if you do B.Sc. you would have a better theoretical understanding. Then you would be able to go in the academic line. You can be a teacher. Of course for research work you would have to do M.Sc. first.
If you go for BE its more about practical application and you would get not jobs from industries.
Good luck
