see right now you need to have skill to get a job , getting a job is depends on your skill not in your degree. you can do job or can go for higher studies. there is job available for ccna certified candidates, hardware engineer etc. also there is recruitment comes for different psus and central government for diploma degree holders. you can do six month course on web development and can join start up companies as web developer, start up companies only focus on candidates skill.  if your dream is to about join tcs, infosys or in any mncs as a software engineer you need to have b.tech in computer science engineering, as they dont hire diploma degree holders. you can join b.tech through  lateral entry exam from second year of b.tech studies.
