ESIC quota in NEET is for candidates whose parent (mother/father) is registered under the scheme of ESIC- Employee State Insurance Corporation. All employees working in an institution and getting "gross salary" below Rs. 21000 are eligible for ESIC. The employees have further been divided into three groups according to which seats will be allotted-
GROUP1- IP's who have worked for a minimum period of 5 years immediately prior to 1st January of the year of admission
GROUP2- IP's who have worked for a minimum period of 4 years immediately prior to 1st January of the year of admission
GROUP3- IP's who have worked for a minimum period of 3 years immediately prior to 1st January of the year of admission
Preference will be given according to the maximum number of years worked ie. Group1> Group 2> Group 3
