The course is designed to provide advanced concepts of basic Physics in first semesters concentrating on developing the basic digital and analog electronics. The second semester is designed to provide experience of handling minor electronics projects and to impart additional knowledge of Nuclear, Quantum and spectroscopy. The third semester encompasses the advanced concepts of digital and microwave electronics and statistics along with programming skill development through MATLAB. The fourth semester is specifically targeted to further strengthen the knowledge of Electronics, Microwave and Communications along with a major project in Electronics.
Duration: 2 Years
Eligibility: Minimum 50 % aggregate in Graduation in any stream of Physics & Maths

Dear Raushan, for being Eiligible for M.Sc Physics in JNU, you should have completed your Bachelor’s degree with Physics as one of the subjects under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with 55% marks in the aggregate or in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined or in Physics Honors. If you are in your 2nd year right now, you can apply during your final year which is in 2020. So please wait until you enter your final year. JNU will release the notification for its entrance exam for its various courses and you can apply.
