Sir,how many marks a general candidate of state MP requires in UPSEE engineering entrance exam to get admission in HBTI??

HBTI is from jee mains not upsee

HBTI CHANGES TO HBTU......

ADMISSION TAKE PLACE IN HBTI (HBTU) TAKE PLACE ONLY THROUGH JEE MAIN FROM THIS YEAR NOT THROUGH UPSEE.....

Hi I would like to mention recent trends here;



UPSEE 2015.    452/600 yielded 1000 rank



UPSEE 2016    496/600 yielded 1000 rank



So as you can see there is a massive difference in the merit of these two years.To get into HBTI core branches(cse,it,ee,ece,me,CE,chemical) you need to get around 800 rank on a safe side.



So marks wise try to score around 500+/600 that's try to correct 125+/150 questions. Practice well.

By the General category must score under 1000 to get admission in hbti .



RANKS FOR GENERAL CATEGORY

CS -<600

MECH <600

ELECTRICAL,ELECTRONICS <700

CIVIL <800

IT < 900-1000

CHEM < 950

FOR OTHER BRANCHES <2500



UPTU is an unpredictable exam where very good marks cannot guarantee u a decent rank, the paper is usually easy .You may need more than 75% of allotted marks for Hbti.
