  • This year(2018) lots of discussions were made on the CLAT exam. There were lots of rumour regarding re-introduction of Age Limit in CLAT 2018. But now all confusions has been clear by the official notification of NUALS Kochi.

As per the official notification of CLAT 2018 there will be no age limit in the exam. This condition is applicable to both UG and PG

  • Candidates applying for UG Law programmes need to
  • Qualify 12th board examination (Intermediate examination) of 10+2 educational system.
  • Appearing candidates of Class 10+2 or equivalent examination in March/April 2018 are also eligible to appear in the entrance exam. At the time of admission, the candidates would have to produce an evidence of their passing qualifying examination.
  • At least 45% marks (in case of Unreserved/OBC/SAP categories) and 40% marks (in case of SC/ST category) in the aggregate of subjects studied at 10+2 level).
  • Those who are applying for PG Law programmes
  • Need to have an LL.B or equivalent degree with a minimum score of 55% marks (Unreserved/OBC/SAP categories) and 50% marks (SC/ST category) in the final year of law degree examination.
  • Candidates would have to produce the evidence of their qualifying examination at the time of admission.
  • There is no upper age limit for PG course

I think so that you are Eligible for LLBFor egUPES provides two option inB.Tech-LLB. They are: B.Tech in Computer Science EngineeringLLB (Hons.) with Specialization in Cyber Law. B.Tech Energy Technology LLB (Hons.) with Specialization in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)Here after btech you can do LLB and if you want to restart everything and start from 1st year then i am not sure about your eligibility for CLAT UG  because of age criteria, earlier their was age criteria but i guess they have removed that age criteria so you can start from 1st year again.. But you have to confirm this age criteria thing because i am not completely sure about this
