For admission into IITs the eligibility criteria is that ths student must have secured minimum 75% in aggregate in their class 12 boards. It is 65% in case of St/SC/OBC. They can also be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards. Also, students must qualify in JEE mains first and then qualify in jee Advanced to be eligible for admission into IITs.
The same above criteria apply for admissions into NITs IIITs and GFTIs after qualifying in JEE mains.
