In India, M.Tech qualification can be only done via F/T and P/T mode. The reason being M.Tech in Distance or Correspondence is a very rare option. Not many universities offer M.Tech in Distance mode as AICTE/UGC doesn’t recognize distance M.Tech. A part-time M.Tech of 3-year duration, which is offered by a few universities, is considered for teaching jobs as well as for PhD admissions. You can take a chance and pursue it if you have no other full time option.

But, I will always suggest you to pursue a 2 year full time M.Tech in a acclaimed educational institution which will give you a bright future. Following is the list of institutions where you can do M. Tech of your choosen field:-

· Lovely Professional University

· Anna University

· Vellore Institute of Technology.

· Birla Institute of Technology.

· SRM University.
