It completely depends whether you have topped your BOARD EXAMS or Not.

BUTS has following Admission criteria:

1. By appearing in the BITSAT entrance test.

2. To be a topper in your 10+2 exams in your Board.

whatever be your percentage in 12, to get admission in BITS you have to clear BITSAT. however, there is a criterion in BITS for direct admission of board toppers. so you can get direct admission if you are board topper.
