Sir/mam how should I apply for lpu I mean procedure and everything, I have not qualified jee mains and gotten 86% in 12th

Hi there , if you are interested to take admission in engineering stream but didn't qualify JEEMAINS , then you need to apply for LPUNEST test . The procedure is as follows -

Step 1: Sign Up  – Register onto LPUADMIT(admission.lpu.in) with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password).

Step 2: Payment for LPUNEST Kit – The cost of LPUNEST Kit needs to be paid by the applicant as per his/ her choice.

Application Fee:

• Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is Rs. 1000 (for Boys) and Rs. 500 (for Girls).
• Printed LPUNEST Kit is Rs. 1500 (for Boys) and Rs. 1000 (for Girls). The payment can be made using Online banking/Credit card/debit card / UPI.

Step 3: General Information and Qualification details – The application form details like Aadhar card number, address details and qualification details need to be filled by the applicant.

Step 4: Exam Information – Applicant needs to book the slot (preferred venue (if applicable), date and time as per their choice) to appear in the LPUNEST Exam. Applicant can also download the hall ticket from the portal.

After applying and qualifying exam you need to complete the admission form  by taking provisional admission and submit the required documents on the admission portal for verification purpose  .

Dear, for the admission in LPU in BTECH the eligibility criteria is 60% in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST.

LPUNEST is mandatory for admission

The duration of the test is 150 minutes (2:30 hr.) and it consists of objective type multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

• Applicants can opt for either English, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude, Maths or English, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude, Biology
• There will be no negative marking for wrong answers or unanswered questions.

To apply the LPUNEST you can follow simple steps-

Step 1 - Signup

• Register onto LPUADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal.
• You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this.
• Login to the LPUADMIT with already created username/ password.

STEP 2 - Apply LPUNEST (Entrance and Scholarship Test)

LPUNEST is an online test which acts as a gateway to programme you are interested in.

STEP 3 - Book the Exam Slot and Appear

• Book the slot (preferred date and time) to appear in the  LPUNEST Exam.

STEP 4 - Result

• Get your scorecard/ rank.

STEP 5 - Admission

• Deposit initial payment of Rs.10000. After the successful realization of the payment:
  • A Unique Provisional Registration No. will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID.

Hi there, you don't need to worry if you have not qualified JEE. You can appear for LPUNEST. The test conducted for scholarship and admission to various programs at LPU is called LPUNEST. The aim of conducting the test is to check how far the concepts are clear to the student. Don't be scared, the syllabus of LPUNEST is all that you have studied in your previous qualification? In addition to it, there are questions of reasoning, verbal ability, analytical ability are also there. LPUNEST is a proctored exam and questions are asked in the form of MCQs. The result is displayed on the dashboard of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPUNEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for a scholarship. One has to register oneself with the university and pay online for taking LPUNEST. The application form will be in a format that can be processed by Optical Mark Reader (OMR). Reenakhil , Yes of course u can apply for this to get engineering seat in lpu . If u have qualified in jee mains exam it is very easy to get seat in lovely profesional university as per u r 12th percentile consideration also.

And there is one university exam which is conducted by lp university so, go and try to wrotr exam and qualify in that .

So, don't feel that u r not qualified for jee mains there are so many colleges which are equal to NIT colleges . So, if u have written eamcet exam then in that also u have good government colleges.so, try and also try for satyabhama,etc... Colleges

IPU has discontinued admissions for BTech based on its CET exam, and admission will be given based on the national level entrance exam, JEE. However, the only BTech field available under IPU CET is biotechnology for which you can apply, if you are interested in the field. Also, if you want to completely change your domain, you can go ahead with various exams of IPU for LLB, BBA etc.
