If you belong to General category then you won't be eligible for IIMC entrance exam 2019. However, if you are from SC/ST/PH/OBC category then you are eligible to apply. According to the eligibility criteria of IIMC:

Indian Institue of Mass Communication(IIMC) offers plethora of diploma courses in the field of Journalism like Post-Graduate Diploma course in Journalism(Hindi and English),Post-Graduate Diploma Course in Advertising and Public Relations and so on for which they conduct entrance exam.
However, there are certain eligibility norms that should be met by the interested candidate. Students who hold Bachelor's degree in any subject only can apply for this exam. Moreover, only Indian nationals are eligible to take the exam for Post-Graduate Diploma courses. For International students, however, there are other criteria.
As far as the age criteria is concerned, for General Category -candidates who are born on 01 August, 1994 or later are eligible. SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Catregory - candidates who are born on 01 August, 1989 or later are eligible. OBC category - candidates born on 01 August, 1991 or later are eligible.
