Hope you are doing well. As per your query there are a series of eye tests in the medicals after getting recommended in the SSB. An absolutely clear vision is required for air force as well as navy. One must have 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other which can be correctable. Corrected vision is permitted only for Transport and Helicopter Pilots.
