Hi Reshu Rana, if you see the curriculum for BCA it is more based on computer applications and you will learn languages like Java python cplusplus in the curriculum itself which is more in demand nowadays in IT industry where maximum jobs are available currently so the score for BCA is good as it gives you entry level jobs in multinational companies of the IT industry. Web designing front end development et cetera are the job profiles that you can get from BCA. Now coming to BSc if you are doing Bsc in it then the scope is similar to of BCA as both of them provide a similar opportunities in the IT industry. BSc has a slight advantage of you being able to go into research fields in computer science. BCA graduates to can going to research but their curriculum is more based on the application part of computers rather than research. If you are choosing any other subject in BSC your best option would be to do MSc and get into the professor profession which is much better than getting into the IT industry in terms of work pressure and monetary compensation but it is a long road to being a professor and you need to have a neck to be able to teach students for that. Security options according to your interest and capabilities and you will be surely having good results in any of the choices that you take

Hi dear,

BSc. is Bachelor of science deals with subjects like IT, physics, chemistry, mathematics, electronics and communication etc.BCAdeals with computer applications, computer programming languages.

The most logical step after BCA is MCA. Alternatively, you may look into jobs in the IT sector.

Pursuing bsc is most beneficial for students who have strong interest and background in science & mathematics.

If you are talking about B.sc computer science, then I would suggest you to take BCA .

Best of Luck!!!

greetings rishu,

bca is a professional course white B.sc is an academic course. you can go for that course in which the university/college offering is better be it bsc or bca.

if you get admission in delhi university for computer science honours, nothing better than that.

pls refer to the following link for the syllabus:

http://du.ac.in/du/uploads/Syllabus_2015/B.Sc.%20Hon.%20Computer%20Science.pdf

if you are looking for a career in the corporate sector, bca will be a better option.

hope this helps.

good luck.
