COURSE:As different institutes have different course of syllabus, you must first recognize your interest,Pure Maths, Applied Maths or Pure & Applied Maths.



Most of the NITs (including NIT J) have syllabus dedicated towards Pure & Applied Maths. This is student friendly.



LOCATION: NITs are spread all over in India. Some of the best NITs are in South India like NIT Trichy, NIT W, etc. It depends upon your (North Indian) choice whether you want to travel 1000 miles from North to South or not. But if you are a South Indian, then nothing to argue about. They are certainly best suited for you.
