so I'm a sc category student i got 67%in my board class 12th exam from bihar board so am i able to get admission to iits or nits or i had to face any problem?

Hello Sam,

Earlier following was the eligibility criteria for getting admission in IITs, NITs and CFTIs.

  • A candidate has to score 75% or more aggregate marks in his/her +2 Higher secondary examination or he/she has to be in top 20 percentile list in his/her respective board.

But this is no longer valid and students have to get just passing certificate in +2 examination. Some time before it was announced for IITs only. But HRD minister in his tweet has now mad it very clear that the same is applicable for admission in NITs and CFTIs as well. So you will definitely get admission provided you perform well JEE examination.
