Dakshita, as per the previosu years records with 93 percentile your rank would be somewhere between 50,000-60,000. And with this rank it is almost impossible to get into a NIT, however you can try for your homestate NIT, but still chances are very low. You can write other exams such as there are many college level exams, choose the colleges in which you want admission such as SRMJEE for SRM, UPESEAT for UPES, BITSAT for BITS, VITEEE for VIT or any other state level entrance exams. This will be your backups if you will not be getting any good college from JEE MAINS.
And the colleges which will accept ranking form 50-60000 are:
Dr Ambedkar national institute of technology, NIT Durgapur, NIT goa, NIT hamirpur, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Nagaland, NIT Pudducherry, NIT Mizoram, NIT arunachal pradesh, NIT silchar, SVNIT Surat, Assam University, BIT mesra, Indian institute of carpet technology, Tezpur university, Punjab engineering college, etc.
