Correct Answer: 3.48

Solution : Total distance covered by them = $(6\times2) + (2\times1) + (1×\frac{18}{5}) + (4\times3)$
= $12 + 2 + 3.6 + 12 = 29.6$ km
Total time = 2 + 1 + 1.5 + 1 + 3 = 8.5 hr
Average speed = $\frac{29.6}{8.5}=$3.48235 = 3.48 km/hr approx.
Hence, the correct answer is 3.48.
