Hello Aspirant,
- Campus: It is one of the most amazing campus that I have seen, though I have not been to much universities, but it is definitely one of the greenest campus of all. We have got lots of trees, shrubs, flowers of different species and even a lake of our own. Along with the greenery, you can get to see a lot of wildlife as well, including but not limited to Nilgai, Wild boar, 100s of species of migratory birds and several other reptiles. It is generally a safe environment unless you are looking for an adventure ;)
- Faculty: One of the highlights of SNU is its strong faculty base. We have got much of our faculties from several well known institutes. Most of them are fellows at top rated B Schools in the world. Most important thing is, they are not just names, the teaching methodology is quite intensive and engaging. They make sure you learn what you are ought to learn.
- Crowd: People here are rather chilled out. There have not been a single brawl, at least in the last 1 year. Even the largest of fests, get completed without any such “events” taking place. UGs are highly energetic and have a lot of club activities going on. PGs and Doctorate students try to mingle as much as they can, as they have loads of assignments to be completed. One negative side is that we have got a lot of freedom here, which sometimes lead to students getting attracted in drug abuse and other similar things. But then, its not the fault of the university, its up to you, how you want to use this freedom provided.
Hope this helps.
