Hello Rajat,Eligibility:The minimum eligibility criteria to appear for the written examination is a minimum aggregate marks at 10+2 level as mentioned below (category wise):

  • General Category & EWS - 60% in any four subjects (including mathematics).
  • OBC Category - 54% in any four subjects (including mathematics).
  • PH Category - 57% in any four subjects (including mathematics).
  • SC/ST Category - Passing marks with Mathematics as one subject.
Syllabus for Entrance Test of B.Tech:The written entrance test of two hours duration will be based on

  • Mathematics till 10+2 level
  • Reasoning
  • Analytical ability
Entrance Test Information:

  • Written, Single Option Correct MCQ Based Test
  • 100 Multiple Choice Questions
  • 2 Hours Duration
  • 4 Choices given per question
  • Each question carries 4 Marks
  • Negative Marking (1 Mark deducted for incorrect answer)
  • No Marks deducted for Unattempted Questions
  • The students can register at the University of Delhi UG admission portal admission.du.ac.in. The admission will be through an MCQ based entrance test. The test centers will be across India as
  • announced by the university. The students will be admitted according to the merit list prepared on the
  • basis of the marks secured in the entrance test.
  • MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERION
  • The minimum eligibility criteria to appear for the written examination is a minimum aggregate marks

  • NO. OF SEATS
  • In 2019 – 20 there will be 44 seats* in B.Tech (IT and Mathematical Innovations). They are
  • distributed as
  • o General Category – 20 seats
  • o EWS – 2 seats
  • o OBC Category – 12 seats
  • o SC Category – 7 seats
  • o ST Category – 3 seats
  • Apart from these there are 6 supernumerary seats as follows:
  • o PwD Category – 2 seats
  • o CW Category – 2 seats
  • o Foreign nationals – 2 seats
* The University of Delhi has the right to change the number of seats.
