Son got 61700 in VIT and 27000 in SRM, we prefer ECE, planning to skip SRM & attending VITEE. Is this good decision? Vellor or chennai ok

Hello sir.
Yeah this may be a better decision if your son gets rank within 30k in VITEEE such that he may easily able to take the ECE branch in Vellore or Chennai campus since your son have rank 61k so he can't able to take this branch in these two campuses but yaah he may get ECE branch in bhopal or Amravati campus.
Although he got good rank in SRMJEEE such that he may be get ECE in kattankulathur campus which is also the main campus.
But sir always try to take the branch at main campus only if possible.
