There are approximately 4-5 seats for sports quota in Karnataka, and you have a good chance of receiving one if you have at least a silver medal in a national sporting event. If you have a gold medal, your seat is guaranteed, and if you have any medal in an international tournament, your seat is guaranteed 100 percent. Even participation in international events is almost guaranteed and prioritised over a gold national medallist.
