Hello ruchi.
Its good to hear that you want to opt for BA llb course. The 5-year BA LLB Integrated programme is structured comprehensively with subjects of BA as well as LLB. In the first three years, BA subjects are pre-dominant with relatively fewer LLB subjects and the next 2 years are dedicated to the practice of legal education. For taking admission in Banaras hindu university, you have to appear for BLAT
The BHU LLB Admission Test commonly called, BLAT is the entrance examination administered by the central university for admissions to undergraduate law programmes including BA LLB. Candidates appearing for BLAT will need to register and fill application form of BLAT
As per the eligibility criteria of BLAT, candidates need to have passed 12th board examination of 10+2 schools system and should have secured a minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate of the subjects in the qualifying examination.
Here is the complete details for the BLAT exam pattern.

3.Exam Duration:Two hours
4.Type of Questions:Multiple Choice Questions

Being a student of humanities is not at all an issue to appear for 5 year law entrance exams. As far as BA LL.B from BHU is concerned, you will have to take BLAT which is an entrance exam for entrance in BHU for BA LL.B. Here you can find its details:
https://www.entrancecorner.com/law/blat/
The question paper will have multiple choice objective questions on the following subjects:
General Awareness and Current Affairs
Common Legal Knowledge
Aptitude & Mental Ability and
Language Comprehension
Language comprehension includes both Hindi and English comprehension and the candidates have to attempt the question paper in one language only.
Preparing for BLAT needs time, patience and hard work. There are certain points which need to be kept in mind:
1. Try getting updates with the current affairs of the past year from the date of last exam to the day before this year's exam. Also learn by heart the static GK portion.
2.Legal knowledge has a very limited scope. Therefore solve previous year's questions and other law entrance exam questions to understand the concept and on which basis the answers are expected.
3. Mathematics and reasoning are a game of practice. Keep practicing these both till the end to get hold of them.
4.READING. I cannot emphasise much on the importance of reading for cracking the English section. Because there is not much time remaining, you can practice more than read to make your brain directed towards the solving of those problems.
Hope this serves your query. Please feel free to respond and ask further questions.
All the best.
