Both Sri Venkateswara Medical College (SV Medical College) and SVIMS, Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women (SVIMS- SPMC W) are both Government Medical Colleges in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women was founded in 2014 in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. It is India’s second government medical college established exclusively for female students. The college is affiliated to Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences. It offers an MBBS course. Admissions to the college is conducted on the basis of the NEET entrance examination.

Sri Venkateswara University is a state university situated in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The university campus covers a big piece of land which was donated by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. The university was established in 1954 and is surrounded by other universities like Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences, Sri Venkateswara Vedic University, Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, and Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam. It is affiliated to the UGC and is ranked 'A+' by the NAAC.
