(My review on SNIST)

In terms of

Placements: IT firms like Infosys, CTS, Wipro come to our college and more than 50-70% of eligible candidates can get into at least one of them but package is just around 3.3LPa. Companies like delloite visit our campus and recruit people for 4.2LPa but their job profile is not that good !! ...other companies like Comvault, Voonik etc., offer a high packages of more than 9Lpa but recruit only a few people !! we don't get other core companies for ECE,ME,EEE,BT students ... IT sector rule our placements .

Transportation: AC,NonAC,Exclusive RTC buses are available.Own transport is also encouraged.

Faculty : We have some eminent faculty and there are several lecturers with PhD and others are continuing their research work to get PhD :-P .... Some of the faculty are pretty new to teaching field and they don't have a handful experience . So it depends on your luck if your section is allotted with one good faculty member. Student to faculty ratio is also impressive.

Other activities : SNIST is known for fests and we have a fest for every 2-3 months. There are a number of technical and non technical clubs in our college and you can get into any one them and have fun !!

Sports : Screw you !! Don't expect anything specially here . Curriculum is so well planned that you hardly get time to play :-/. We have a football ground , 1 basket ball court , 2 volley ball courts , 3 TT tables, Carroms and chess. A small cricket ground where density of population shots up to a very high value when free time comes :-D

Grades: Being an autonomous college you can always expect 5-10% of more marks than you thought you will be awarded :-D

Infrastructure : Strength is increasing at an exponential rate and we need more classrooms then currently available.New block is in the last stage of construction.

Canteen : only few items are good and food sucks at times !!

Alumni : I hardly know any awesome alumni from our college ...so even if they are present no proper interaction with any of them through college.

Others : strict attendance, uniform.

Fee: being one of the best colleges in the town we have a proportionate fee structure.

And don't expect any encouragement from college for your GATE,CAT or GRE exams !! You are on your own.

PS: do your own research and choose the best option ( SNIST probably )

Sreenidhi engineering college for MB ahas decent placements of 80% with average package of 3.4lpa which is below industry standard for MBA students.



Top companies like cognizant, Capgemini, Google, HCl, Delloitte, IBM hav ebeen frequently recruiting.



Overall decent brand and nAAC A graded.



Faculty is grest and so is internships opportunities.
