Hello!
Both MVGR and SRKR have good overall ratings. They both have good and consistent placement record but MVGR have better placement records and offers better package than SRKR. SRKR have one of the best infrastructure. Both the institutions have better teaching faculties but SRKR have experienced teaching faculties than MVGR's teaching faculties.
Whatever college you choose among these two colleges. they are best in one or the other way.
Choose wisely, ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful.

Ya there are improvement in statistics. It completely depends upon the current batch.

If you are conscious about placement then go with MVGR. If you are a studious person then go with SRKR. Go with MVGR as they have good teaching faculties but not that experienced. Still they are highly supportive.
