It has it's mains campus at Kathankulathur which has the All india ranking under 50 given by the MHRD across all the Universities of India. Overall it is a good private deemed to be University to study.

srm institute of science and technology is totaly a private college. And the college has their own criteria of taking admission. THry conduct their own entrance exam and take admission on the basis of jee main. All the best have a great future ahead.
