Shivanshu , the fee charged by SRM university, Chennai for a BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY degree will be around 3 LAKH . I would rate it as a decent college because if we look at the placement cell , it is good , many companies do visit the campus . Internships offered as also good and pay good stipend.

The highest package was around 10 LAKH and average package is around 3-4 LAKH . The lecturers are experienced . The university is old which means it carries some credibility due to the time it has been established .

It is a private University which means it will always put in efforts to make about th efficiency of the students , the higher number of placement than last year , will provide student with extra facilities so that other students would be attracted, will always keep a check on the new technology etc.

So here I would say that it will prove a good university if you score high in its exam and always top or excel in exam beacuse it will definitely make sure that its top students get great jobs , so take admisssion and work hard and then only your money invested would be prove its worth.
