SSC CGL after MBA . Any advantage or waste of MBA ? Would that affect future promotions say in Cabinet ?
First you will have to be clear with want you want to pursue and exactly where your interest lies in because MBA jobs and SSC CGL jobs are very different from each other. SSC CGL jobs provide you work life balance, decent pay and good social status but again if you choose govt. jobs and this profile then the MBA is of less use or simply your field changes in later terms.
So probably if you have done MBA from a top class institute and interested in management then go ahead with the same. It can be hectic but the money included is good and will also enhance your managerial skills, communication skills and public dealing.
Only if you have no interest in the above and look for stability more than the package (package can vary) then you can choose to get into ministries and govt. organisations. There will be not much impact if you do SSC after MBA.
These 2 are different fields and depends upon on interest totally.
Good Luck.
