Hello,
I believe you meant SSC CGL and SSC CHSL, both the exams have different eligibility criteria as mentioned below-
In SSC CHSL, the eligibility criteria for LDC/JSA/PA/SA/DEO is passed 10+2 from a recognized board, only in case of DEO in C&AG is passed 10+2 from a recognized board in science stream with mathematics,
Whereas in case of SSC CGL, the eligibility criteria is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, the exception is there for three posts as mentioned below:
- Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer: essential qualification is bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university, desirable qualification is ca/cma/cs/mcom/mba(finance),masters in business economics and masters in business studies
- Junior Statistical Officer: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 60% marks in maths at 10+2 level or graduation in any subject with statistics as a subject in all the three years of graduation.
- Statistical Investigator Grade II; Bachelor's degree in any discipline with statisics as a subject in all the three years of graduation.
SSC CGL is definitely better option compared to that of SSC CHSL, and this is irrespective of gender, SSC CGL is better in terms of job opportunities as the level is higher since it's graduation based, in terms of pay scale. so you should definitely consider appearing for SSC CGL once you have completed your graduation, if you're not yet then you can appear for SSC CHSL based on 12th qualification.
